Helping downtown pullman grow

DPA brings $288,031 in grants to downtown.

  • Riverside mural

The DPA working with the Pullman Arts Foundation Mural Committee has selected Seattle artist and landscape architect, Tori Shao from a group of 16 applicants. She has created three concepts that continue the beauty of the river edge and Palouse landscape up the side of the building while creating a sense of discovery for children to find the hidden wildlife. The DPA was able to help fundraise over $32,000 for this project.

  • Moveable Furniture

In the fall of 2024 $9,700, paid through a portion of the $50,000 T-Mobile Hometown Grant enabled the DPA to provide moveable furniture to all of downtown Pullman plazas as well as $34,000 in permanent lighting for all the new trees!

  • Triangle alley

The Downtown Pullman Association was awarded a $74,000 U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Business Development Grant for two improvement projects aimed to create more attractive, usable and safe back entrances for some Main Street businesses.
